What is the best way to get in touch with you?

What type of camera do you use?

Well, if I haven’t bribed one of my friends who is a photographer I usually use my iPhone. I love the app Camera+ for photo editing as well as Instagram. I also use a Nikon D50.

How long have you been blogging?

I started blogging in March 2011. In the beginning, it was for friends and family who were always asking me questions about the latest trends and what to wear. I have always loved fashion and helping others build an actual wardrobe with essential pieces.

How would you describe your style?

My style is always evolving so that is a tough question.  I would categorize it as a combination of three three things- classic, modern and feminine.  I don’t feel dressed without a pair of heels on (I even wear heels to the baseball park) and I love a modern form fitting dress.  You can be sexy and feminine without showing a lot of skin.

What is the most important piece a woman should own in her closet?

Well since I love high heels, I would have to say a great pair of nude or black pumps. This is a great place to make an investment. A pair of pumps with a classic line will never go out of style. You can wear them to work, to lunch with girlfriends or wear them at night with a great pair of skinny jeans and a fab top.

Who is your favorite designer?

I fell in love with fashion with Brooke Shields and her Calvins as a small girl. But I would have to say when Tom Ford started designing for Gucci it was love at first sight. I have continued my love affair with Tom Ford. His style is modern and clean and so incredibly sexy! Love.

Why is the blog named Fashionable CHICKs?

I grew up loving nature and animals. I have always wanted to live on a farm with horses, cows and chickens, etc. I have not retired to the farm just yet but my family and I have 3 chickens, 2 dogs and a very talkative parrot right in the middle of Atlanta. My ultimate home would be a modern farmhouse with touches of 70’s glamour. I love a home with raw beams and minimal décor but with a gorgeous flashy chandelier. So I believe the mix of high fashion and a little southern country girl style is perfect. All Things Town and A Little Country…
